Providing practical work-specific training that can also lead to a university qualification is the aim of Cetana PSB International College. The Center is located in District 5 HCMC and will offer certificate and diploma programs from August 2004.
One hundred percent foreign-owned, Cetana PSB International College works in co-operation with the Singaporean company, PSB Corporation and Academy (PSB Singapore). All awards are issued by PSB Singapore and are recognized by the International Examination Council of Cambridge University and more than 25 universities around the world. PSB Singapore qualifications are also approved by the Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry.
An agreement to cooperate in providing education and training was signed by Cetana PSB International College and PSB Singapore during Prime Minister Phan Van Khai’s visit to the Vietnam-Singapore Business Forum held earlier this year in Singapore.
“We are unique because we are offering very practical training programs that result in qualifications from certificate to diploma and allow students to articulate into degree programs as well.” said Ms Patricia Roessler, the Center Director.
“PSB has been providing education and skills development in Singapore for 30 years and our Center is now offering this expertise in Vietnam.” Ms Roessler added.
The six-floor center in District 5 boasts computer laboratories with internet access, audio visual facilities, well-equipped class rooms and a learning resource center.
Courses commenced in August and September 2004 are English Language Proficiency courses, Cambridge Diploma of Project Management, Certificate of Business Administration, Certificate of Business Administration and the Diploma of Business Administration.
